This course is divided into 2 sections, beginners and advanced. Beginners is
a course for those who have never sailed before, or for those who have sailed
before and feel they cannot yet handle a boat competently on their own.
The advanced course is for those who feel they can handle a boat on their own and wish to learn the finer points of sailing; advanced manoeuvres, racing tactics, etc. The principle boats used on the course are custom built 18's, Wayfarers, 420's and Lasers. When both adults and younger people are on the same course they always sail on separate boats. Detailed syllabus on the course may be had on request. |
